Biography
I was born February 22, 1966, in Bratislava,

Store. I finished high school (GAMCA) in 1986. The following year I started
studying at the Fac. of Mathematics
and Physics, Comenius University in Slovakia. I studied in parallel numerical
optimization methods and computer graphics. In June 1989 I graduated and completed
my M.Sc. (RNDr.) degree from Computer Graphics. In September 1989 I become an
assistant professor at the newly opened at the same faculty. The following year
I did my military service. I have took a short post-graduate course from infinite
control theory at Fac. of Econometrics, Groningen University, Netherlands within
February and May 1991. In 1992 I have got the scholarship from Japanese ministry
of education (MONBUSHO) to be a research student at the Electric
Machinery Laboratory (EML) at the Fac. of Engineering, Hiroshima University
in Japan. From April 1993 to March 1996 I was Ph.D.-student at the same department
of Hiroshima University. Since April 1, 1996 have been the invited associate researcher
at Hiroshima University. In April 1998 I have moved to Kyushu University in Fukuoka
as an Assistance Researcher where I'm involved in problems of computational simulations
of molecular dynamics. From April 1999 till March 2005, I come back to CG field
this time at The University of Aizu as a Professor. My last possition from
April 2005 is at Comenius University and at University of Saint Cyril and Metod
in Slovakia were I serve as an associate professor. I am a member of IEEE Engineering
in Medicine, Biology Society, IEEE Computer Society, EG, and SIGGRAPH. See list

December 29, 1990 I married Andrea who I have often ski together with.
Our first daughter Lucia was born in April 1992 in Slovakia, the son Michal in May
1997 in Higashi-hiroshima and son Andrej in Slovakia, July 1999.
