SCCG & CESCG

The Central European Seminar on Computer Graphics is a conference where under-graduate students present their research
and meet with the 'big guys' in the field of computer graphics. This annual event is organized by Comenius University
Bratislava and Technische Universität Wien and is located at the Budmerice manor near Bratislava.
The CESCG usually takes place in the same week as the Spring Conference on Computer Graphics, an international event for computer graphics, computer vision and visualization. I have participated in the organization of both CESCG and SCCG since 2003. |
Multimedia historic Bratislava

A presentation of the most famous sites of Bratislava including photographs, videos and an interactive 3d model of the city with flybies a guided tours. The Multimedia historic Bratislava was developed at Comenius University and I was in charge of design/programming the user interface. Watch showreel |
Topo-in-Vis 2005

Another event I helped organize was the first international workshop on topology-based methods in visualization, Topo-In-Vis 2005.
The workshop took place at the wonderful and cosy environment of the Budmerice manor (like SCCG or CESCG) and I was in charge of the local organization. I also designed the poster for the conference and my artwork has recently been re-used for the cover page of the proceedings. |
Hniezdo

Hniezdo (The Nest) was a magazine for students published by a group of enthusiasts at Mlynska dolina - a part of Bratislava
where the student dorms are concentrated. The magazine was being published from 2003 to 2004 and I was one of the editors. If you

SimVis

SimVis is an award-winning framework for interactive visual analysis by VRVis Research Centre, Vienna. It combines scientific visualization with information visualization. I implemented parallel coordinates as one of the views of the multi-view environment. A particularly crappy implementation that was (I hope they're not using it still), due to my lack of practise as an undergrad student. But it was a great experience and they put me on the list of participants nevertheless. |
